Cravio Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Cravio mobile application, public QR menu pages, restaurant discovery services, ordering features, loyalty features, reviews, recommendations, advertisements, and related services.

Welcome to Cravio. By creating an account, browsing Cravio, placing an order, using our QR menu pages, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Cravio.
Cravio is registered in Lebanon and currently operates for users and restaurants located in Lebanon. For support, contact us at support@cravio.org.
1. About Cravio
Cravio is a food discovery and ordering platform that helps users discover restaurants, explore menus, receive AI-powered food recommendations, place food orders, review restaurants, earn loyalty points, and receive offers or promotions.
Cravio also provides restaurants with tools including online menus, public QR menu pages, order management, customer insights, marketing tools, advertising options, performance reports, and related merchant services.
At launch, orders are fulfilled and delivered by the restaurant directly. Cravio acts as a digital platform connecting users with restaurants.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Cravio.
- You are at least 16 years old.
- You are using the Platform from Lebanon.
- The information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
- You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- You will not misuse the Platform, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it without authorization.
Cravio may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Account Registration
Cravio uses phone number registration with OTP verification.
To use ordering and certain features, you may need to create an account by providing your phone number and verifying it through a one-time password. You may also provide your name and optional email address.
- Keep your phone number accurate and accessible.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Do not share OTP codes with others.
Cravio is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your phone, OTP, or account.
4. User Information
To provide the Platform, Cravio may collect and process information including your name, phone number, optional email address, saved delivery locations, order history, device operating system, usage activity, restaurant interactions, reviews, preferences, and other information necessary to operate the Platform. Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Location Services
Cravio does not continuously track your live location. When placing an order, you may provide or allow Cravio to detect your current delivery location. This location may be saved to your account to process the order, support delivery, improve restaurant discovery, and help you reuse delivery addresses in future orders.
You are responsible for ensuring that your delivery address and location pin are accurate before placing an order.
6. Restaurant Listings and Menus
Cravio allows restaurants to display profiles, branches, menus, items, descriptions, prices, images, offers, availability, delivery fees, and related information. Restaurants may manage and update their own information through the merchant dashboard.
Restaurants remain responsible for the accuracy of their menus, item availability, pricing, preparation, packaging, food quality, delivery, and customer service. Cravio may correct, hide, remove, or request updates to restaurant content if it is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, or harmful to users.
7. Food Safety, Allergens, and Dietary Requirements
Restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of food information, including allergens, ingredients, preparation methods, dietary claims, and item availability. Users are responsible for checking allergens, ingredients, and dietary restrictions before ordering.
If you have allergies, medical conditions, religious restrictions, dietary restrictions, or ingredient concerns, contact the restaurant directly before placing an order. Cravio is not a medical, nutrition, or allergy advisory service.
8. AI Recommendations
Cravio may use artificial intelligence to understand your cravings, mood, preferences, location, previous orders, searches, and interactions to suggest restaurants, dishes, offers, or other food-related results.
AI recommendations are suggestions only. Cravio does not store your voice audio. If voice input is used, it may be converted to text to process your request. Cravio may store AI conversations, prompts, preferences, and interaction history to improve recommendations, personalize results, enhance the Platform, and support user experience.
9. Orders
When you place an order through Cravio, the order is sent to the selected restaurant. An order may have statuses such as pending, accepted, preparing, ready, on the way, delivered, rejected, or cancelled. An order is not confirmed until the restaurant accepts it.
Restaurants may reject orders due to availability, operating hours, delivery limitations, menu changes, technical issues, or other operational reasons.
10. Payments
At launch, Cravio supports cash on delivery. Payment is made directly to the restaurant or its delivery representative upon delivery. Cravio does not currently collect online card payments from users for food orders.
11. Delivery
At launch, restaurants handle their own delivery. Delivery time, delivery availability, delivery zones, delivery fees, packaging, driver assignment, and delivery completion are the responsibility of the restaurant.
Users are responsible for providing a correct and reachable delivery address, being available to receive the order, and answering calls or messages from the restaurant or delivery person.
12. Order Cancellation
Users may cancel an order only while the order is still in pending status and before the restaurant accepts it. Once the restaurant accepts the order, the order may no longer be cancellable through the app unless Cravio or the restaurant allows cancellation on a case-by-case basis.
13. Refunds
Since Cravio currently supports cash on delivery, refund issues are generally handled case by case between the user, the restaurant, and Cravio support. More details are provided in Cravio's Refund & Cancellation Policy.
14. Loyalty Points, Rewards, and Promotions
Cravio may offer loyalty points, rewards, coupons, referral codes, discounts, featured offers, or promotional campaigns. Unless stated otherwise, points have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted or removed in cases of fraud, abuse, technical error, cancelled orders, refunded orders, suspicious activity, or violation of these Terms.
15. Reviews and Comments
Users may rate restaurants and post comments. Reviews must be honest, based on real experience, lawful, non-abusive, and not spam or fake reviews. Cravio may remove, hide, edit, moderate, or refuse any review or comment that violates these Terms or harms the Platform.
You grant Cravio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute your reviews and comments in connection with the Platform and related marketing.
16. Restaurant Marketing and Customer Data
Restaurants may receive access to information and analytics related to customers who ordered from that restaurant. Restaurants may only use customer data in a lawful, respectful, and relevant manner connected to their business relationship with the customer and Cravio.
17. Advertisements and Featured Listings
Cravio may display advertisements, sponsored placements, featured restaurants, promoted offers, and restaurant marketing campaigns. Sponsored or featured content may influence visibility or ranking.
18. QR Menu Pages
Cravio may provide public QR menu pages for restaurants. QR menu pages may be accessible without a full Cravio user account, but use remains subject to these Terms where applicable. Restaurants are responsible for keeping QR menu content accurate and updated.
19. Prohibited Uses
- Use Cravio for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
- Create fake accounts or use someone else's phone number.
- Place fake, abusive, or prank orders.
- Abuse restaurants, drivers, Cravio staff, or other users.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or overload the Platform.
- Upload or post harmful, offensive, illegal, or misleading content.
- Manipulate reviews, points, promotions, referrals, or offers.
- Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or unauthorized software to access the Platform.
20. Restricted Products
Cravio is currently intended for food ordering and restaurant services. Cravio does not allow the sale or delivery of alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or other restricted products unless permitted by law and specifically approved by Cravio in the future.
21. Intellectual Property
Cravio, including its name, logo, branding, mascot, design, app interface, software, content, features, and technology, is owned by or licensed to Cravio. Restaurants retain ownership of their own logos, menus, images, descriptions, and content but grant Cravio permission to use them for operating, displaying, promoting, and marketing the restaurant on the Platform.
22. Platform Availability
Cravio may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device or operating system.
23. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account from inside the app. Cravio will delete personal data from active systems unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, accounting, or compliance purposes.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, Cravio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. Cravio's role is to provide a digital platform connecting users and restaurants. Restaurants remain responsible for food preparation, food quality, item accuracy, packaging, delivery, cash collection, and order fulfillment.
25. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Cravio harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, violation of law or third-party rights, harmful activity, content you post, or incorrect delivery information.
26. Suspension and Termination
Cravio may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access if you violate these Terms, place fake or abusive orders, misuse promotions or reviews, engage in suspicious or fraudulent activity, or harm users, restaurants, Cravio, or third parties.
27. Changes to These Terms
Cravio may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, Cravio may notify users through the app, SMS, push notification, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
28. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, the Platform, orders, restaurants, or Cravio services shall be subject to the competent courts of Lebanon, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
