This Privacy Policy explains how Cravio collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Cravio mobile application, restaurant discovery services, ordering features, AI recommendations, public QR menu pages, loyalty features, reviews, advertisements, and related services.

Cravio is registered in Lebanon and currently operates in Lebanon. By using Cravio, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. For privacy or support questions, contact support@cravio.org.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
- Name.
- Phone number.
- OTP verification status.
- Optional email address.
- Account preferences.
- Account status and deletion requests.
1.2 Order Information
- Restaurant selected.
- Items ordered.
- Order notes and special instructions.
- Order status and order history.
- Delivery location and address.
- Payment method, such as cash on delivery.
- Support requests related to orders.
1.3 Location Information
Cravio does not continuously track your live location. When placing an order, you may provide or allow access to your current location. This location may be saved to your account as a delivery location.
1.4 Device, Technical, Usage, and Analytics Information
We may collect limited technical and usage information including device operating system, app version, device type, language settings, error logs, performance logs, searches, viewed restaurants and menu items, clicks, interactions, favorites, reviews, offers viewed or used, loyalty activity, AI prompts, and recommendation interactions.
1.5 Reviews, Comments, and AI Interaction Data
If you post reviews or comments, we may collect and display that content. Cravio may use AI to understand cravings, mood, preferences, location, previous orders, and interactions. Cravio does not store voice audio; voice input may be converted to text to process your request.

- Send push notifications, OTP messages, and service messages.
- Handle support requests, complaints, refunds, and disputes.
- Improve app performance, security, and platform quality.
- Analyze restaurant and platform performance.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, fake orders, and unauthorized access.
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions and comply with legal obligations.
3. OTP, SMS, and Notifications
Cravio uses your phone number to send OTP verification messages and important account or order-related communications. Cravio may also send push notifications about order updates, restaurant updates, offers, promotions, loyalty points, announcements, and personalized food recommendations.
4. Marketing Communications
Cravio may send promotional messages, offers, discounts, restaurant promotions, loyalty updates, or personalized recommendations. Restaurants may receive access to customer information only for customers who ordered from them, and only for purposes connected to their relationship with that customer and Cravio.
5. How We Share Information
5.1 With Restaurants
When you place an order, we share necessary information with the restaurant, including your name, phone number, order details, delivery location and address, order notes, and relevant support details.
5.2 With Service Providers
Cravio may use third-party service providers including Neon, Bunny CDN, OpenAI, SMS or communication providers, hosting, security, analytics, and technical service providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Cravio.
5.3 For Legal and Safety Reasons
Cravio may share information to comply with law, court orders, or government requests; protect Cravio, users, restaurants, or third parties; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security threats; enforce our Terms; or resolve disputes.
5.4 Business Transfers
If Cravio is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. AI and Third-Party Processing
Cravio may send text prompts, preferences, order context, or other relevant information to AI service providers to generate recommendations, understand cravings, and improve user experience. AI-generated recommendations may not always be accurate.
7. Data Storage and Security
Cravio uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No digital platform, internet transmission, cloud service, or storage system is completely secure.
8. Data Retention
Cravio keeps personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, maintain accounts, process orders, support restaurants, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Terms. When information is no longer needed, Cravio may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.
9. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account from inside the app. After account deletion, personal profile data and saved delivery locations will be deleted from active systems, while some information may be retained or anonymized where legally permitted or required.
10. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete personal information, delete your account, object to certain processing, withdraw certain permissions, or contact Cravio about privacy concerns. To make a privacy request, contact support@cravio.org.
11. Children and Age Limit
Cravio is not intended for users under 16 years old. If we learn that a user under 16 has created an account, we may delete the account and related personal information.
12. Cookies and Public QR Menu Pages
Cravio's main service is provided through the mobile app. Public QR menu pages may collect basic technical and analytics information such as page views, device type, approximate location, browser type, and interaction data. If Cravio later uses cookies or similar tracking technologies, we may update this Privacy Policy or provide a separate Cookie Policy.
13. International Service Providers
Although Cravio operates in Lebanon, some service providers, infrastructure, cloud systems, or AI providers may process or store information outside Lebanon.
14. Data Accuracy
You are responsible for keeping your account information, phone number, delivery address, and location details accurate. Cravio is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect user information.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Cravio may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, Cravio may notify users through the app, push notification, SMS, email, or other reasonable means.
